BARBARA SUTTON MASRY (Writer, Producer)
While working as an educator and community activist, and raising two children, Masry wrote a novel, newspaper articles, and produced her own plays, A Fettucini Affair, published by Samuel French, and two original musicals, Womansong and Suburban Serenade. Her articles have appeared in The New York Times, Newsday and other Long Island newspapers. She has also written and produced shows for Cable TV, and video shorts. She was an Assistant Producer for EQUALITY: I am Woman, a historic documentary short and produced, A Wake-up Call, short film.
She is a member of The Dramatists Guild, NYWIFT (New York Women in Film and Television), IFP and the League of Professional Theatre Women. Another screenplay, Love Potion No. 10 is in development.
She is currently developing her screenplay, The Girl With Pink Hair, into a feature film.
